Making it fun!

I want to make sure our time together is spent doing what works for you. In addition to the actual reunion day at the lake, we could have an opportunity for other activities as a group, or on your own.

If you are planning to only visit for the day or stay for a week of family fun together or on your own, sharing some details about your plans will help me plan the best possible experience.

Golf anyone?

Within a few miles of the cabin is beautiful Red Hawk golf course. A family scramble is a great way to get to know each other better (actual golfing experience is not necessary.)

If you are a serious golfer, we can put together a few foursomes for a fun day on this special “up north” course.

Kayaking/Canoeing/Tubing

About 30 minutes away is a great river float experience at Russell Canoeing. There is nothing like tipping over in a canoe as a family to bring people together!

Au Sable Queen River Boat

The view of the banks of the Au Sable is especially beautiful from the old fashioned steam boat, the Au Sable River Queen. A few hours ride on the Au Sable River is a unique “up north experience.”
